Charles F. Davis, PA-C
Charles F. Davis, IV is a certified Physician Assistant with several degrees in agriculture and animal science and a certificate in paramedic training before he earned a bachelor’s degree as a Physician Assistant from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Charles’ experience includes Emergency Care, Family Medicine and Otolaryngology. Prior to joining NEGACC in March 2010, he spent five years in pulmonary critical care and sleep medicine. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the state of Georgia, and holds membership in the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants.
Kimberly Phillips, NP-C
Kimberly Phillips, certified nurse practitioner, joined NEGACC in August 2005. A cum laude graduate of Medical College of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, she worked for two years with a local cardiology group before moving to public health with the Jackson County Health Department, in Commerce for which she practiced as a public health nurse. In 2004, she returned to school to earn a master’s degree in nursing and nurse practitioner from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA, where she was named to Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. Kim holds advanced oncology certification as a nurse practitioner as well as oncology nursing certification.
Meredith L. Staton, PA-C
Meredith L. Staton has been a certified physician’s assistant since 1997, working in internal medicine before joining NEGACC in March 2005. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Lee University, Cleveland, TN, where she graduated magna cum laude, and was a dean’s scholar, member of Alpha Chi International Honor Society and recipient of the National General Chemistry Award. She earned a second bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from the physician’s assistant program at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where also was a 4-semester Dean’s Scholar. Meredith is certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the state of Georgia, and holds memberships in the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology as well as the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants.
